Love those Stellars, have always wanted one as a pet. I read an article once about talking birds, and a guy had one as a pet that had a 250+ word vocabulary! Said that it put most parrots to shame.

I believe it.  They have more sounds out in the woods than the average bird.  Them and those gray jays.

My Grandma used to live in Glenwood, and one day she could hear her cat outside meowing, which she knew meant the cat wanted to be fed. So she went out put some food in his bowl, and called for the cat, who then appeared from inside the house! She then identified the source of the meowing as the Stellars jay that was sitting in one of the big pines outside the cabin. Used to love spending summers up there, brings back some great memories.

the jays used to rule the bird feeders,now Ive gat a bad assed squirrel that fends them off its funny to watch

my mom has a bear that comes every morning.She has pics of it balancing its self on the squirrel feeder and the bird feeder.They live in northern calif in the boonies,she raised a blacktail fawn and now for eight yrs that doe brings her offspring in to visit,she has book blacktail eating out of her hand......she will not let me hunt those,shes not an anti just loves her animals
