I noticed there haven't been any reports on this site or others as well. That usually means the fishing is good! I haven't been up to the Sky yet though, the lower Columbia is too hard to turn away from.
Fish hard, hunt harder!

They're talking about it right now on the Northwest Wild Country show. Fishing for steelhead sounds pretty good. Fewer kings, but some. And, yes, it's a zoo. They called it "Cowlitz North".
Charlie Kirk didn't speak hate, they hated what he said. Don't get it twisted.

We have been out 4 times since the opener and have only touched 1 fish and we have fished from the mouth to above Sultan. We did the Reiter thing for a quick evening trip but I am not counting it since there were so many people we barely got a line wet. If you don't mind combat fishing there are fish being caught but my 11 year old fishing partner and I are not fans of it.

Normally don't get the low clear conditions like we have now until the end of June into early July. I think we probably have another good shot of steelhead and a big push of kings that will come in with a decent shot of rain.

It was very good to Me on the opener and again on Friday at the hatchery, Lots of people and lots of fish to start then just lots of people, the fish were small 4 to 6 pounds so I expect to see allot more at the end of the Month and first 2 weeks of July.

Nice fish! My son picked up a steelhead on thursdsy evening before the weather hit. Were you side drifting or running bait divers when you got that?

Nice fish!

One moment you're flying south for the winter, then - BANG - gravy.
