West to East tag exchange

I have a westside elk muzzleloader tag. Will WDFW allow me to change this to a  east tag if I surrender my west tag before August 15 or some date like that?

Yes they will, as long as you didn't apply for any special permits.

I would love to swap my east muzzy tag for your west!!! Once you apply your stuck with it, at least now you can hunt big bulls and not just spikes!

Hopefully I'm one of the 8,000 lucky contestants in the Aberdeen Tree Farm permit bonanza tomorrow night. On duty tomorrow night so hard to say. I honestly would be shocked if 8000 people popped for those. But who knows?

Well, all the people who didn't get Vail or Pe Ell will be needing a permit for somewhere. It's either that one or St Helens. (Goes on sale Monday)
