anyone know where I can get?
« on: June 22, 2014, 09:38:53 PM »
Any one know where I can get some pigeons for training in the kitsap area? My pup has not been on live birds yet and I'd really like to get him on some soon. Or if that's not possible what about any dead birds I could use for training?

Check craigslist under farm and garden.

Set a trap or catch them with a salmon net.

Im in olalla, have an extra bird house/birds that we could negotiate $. Pigeons , several mating pairs...

i use to tune my dogs currently but would downsize ... you would need flat bed to get house home, i have tractor to load.

I'll keep a eye out on craigslist. Thanks for the offer bdd I appreciate it. But I am only in need of a few pigeons and don't have any room for a bird house. If I had enough property I'd probably take you up on it.

commando, i trapped pig's at night from underpasses of local bridges in the past. after dark, long pole fishing net/flashlight. pretty easy to get them. lots of them right now at the 303/ridgetop bridge (for instance) and would be easy to trap.
