I'm home to many logging trucks almost got hit. Challenging hunt. seen a lot of elk this year 4 big bulls. Some nice bucks.  That bear was sure sweet cant get to my good spots just to many logging operations. Back to callmaking going to make some awesome calls this week. Orange stabilized box elder burl. Saw a big boy at the Knob on sat night. Tried to put a sneak on him but the fog rolled in and put the kibosh on that. Looked like over 200lbs and a really nice coat. Bunch of coyotes up there, eating fawns like crazy. Might get out Sat but its been really tuff hunting.

Heading out will be there till Monday. Will be camped at Rainbow falls. Going to call a lot on this trip. seen several fawns last week. Good luck every one. Rick

Might see ya up there in the morning. Both times I saw the big boy he was off of the 9200 near the tower. Hope you can call him in. Had a guy with me last weekend try calling him after the fog rolled through...but we are both rookies so it probably sounded to him like a baboon rather then a fawn! Give it one more go tomorrow then hang up the boots till fall. Good hunting.

Getting gas. Was fogged in and very windy on the 9800. Spent the day off 7011. Must of been your tracks heading up there are you by the two cut down tree's laying there . Good luck will be around the area down. Rick
