TASCO 3MP IR MINI GAME CAM
« on: June 19, 2014, 01:17:12 PM »
So I was at walmart the other day and saw the had the mini tasco cams in there. I have the bigger ones that area also $50.00 but I was a little displeased with the fact that they only take 1 picture every 30 seconds. I have since put them in really high traffic areas and my truth cams in less frequented areas but it sucks cause I'm mission out on a lot.

My question is are the minis the same way? Im assuming they have the same set up function as the full size ones (unlike a truth cam you can set how many pics/how often)

Hopefully one of you guys are as cheap as me and don't buy cameras that are more then $50 and have one of these!

I don't have any of the ones you're looking at, but I will say that mine are set at 30 second intervals and I often consider stretching that out to a minute just because I get sooooooo  many pictures of the same thing. I would never be concerned with not being able to go less than 30 seconds. I am cheap too. All of my cameras were less than $80.00. I can't say less than $50 though.

Well with my truth cams I set them at 3 pics every 10 seconds. I dunno I guess I don't want to miss out on anything!!That and if I got a camera in a new area and theres a herd coming down the trail I can get a better idea of how many animals were dealing with. I had the other Tasco cams out and I wasn't please with that half a butt picture. I know I can change the camera angle but with the slower trigger speed and all I was hoping that they may have changed it so you can program it for fewer frequencies.

I was just cruising through wally word and saw the minis and liked them especially at the price of the big ones. I guess we'll keep buying Refurb 35's!!!

Do you put some attractant down to slow them down for the picture to happen? Guaranteed, if you're not doing that, it would help if you did. It would cut your half-butt pic's in half if not more.

All of my Bushnell's are demo models at a sweet discount.
