A new predator!
« on: June 30, 2014, 02:23:15 PM »
Found a little down time and got the new predator all setup and ready to put some song dogs to bed. This one is chambered in 308win. I am thinking about grabbing one in 22-250 as well. I loaded up some 210 SMK'S to see how it shoots. The can is my YHM 7.62 QD and running those 210 SMK'S at 2200fps it's nice and quiet. The stock is a lot darker then a lot of the pictures make it look. Which I am happy with but I will still paint it this fall.

Nice gun!  I'm jealous of the can, how long did it take to get the paperwork through?

I did 3 at once to lessen the pain but it took 1 year to get the stamps. I guess the new efile system is getting people their stamps back as soon as 4 months. I am going to do a couple more pretty soon and will be going with the efile system to hopefully get them back sooner.

Just wanted to bump this back. I am loving the new predator!

Since finishing up hay I have been hitting the coyotes pretty hard. We have taken 6 out in the last week. This gun suppressed is out standing! I have been getting 1/2 groups with this rifle and 210g match kings. I have the trigger breaking right at 3lbs.

I highly recommend this rifle to anyone looking for bolt action predator rifle.

Here is a unlucky female that got a taste of the new top predator!

That's cool.  My family has been here for a very long time. I am 5th generation on the ranch. It's a great place but it sure has seen some change in the last number of years.

I am a FFL and have my own gun shop. A few of the calibers I can get right now and a few I can't get yet.

I don't know how far you are from me but you are welcome to check mine out. The fit and feel is 98% the same as the standard American if that helps.

Is efile back up?  I heard there were some business owners doing large batch submissions and messing up the Efile system.

I think it's still down. It crashed out bad not that long ago. Right when I was getting started so I have been running all mine over the phone.

I know the efile system for sbr's and silencers is still crashed and will be for awhile.
