keeping dogs from chewing sheds
« on: June 17, 2014, 04:05:36 PM »
Are there any ways to keep my dogs from chewing on my sheds? I would love to keep a few of my sheds out in my back yard as decorative pieces but the dogs sure do love some bone. Is there anything I can spray on them or ways to keep them from chewing on them?

I have a pile in the house the dog leaves alone, we give her one of her own to chew on. She used to nose around the pile and she would get in trouble when she would try to shop for one herself. She now knows not to do that but we keep her fairly well supplied. But to try and help with your question you can try some of that bitter spray or sour apple.

I thought about the spray but just wondering how long it will last if it rains or from any dew etc. I have a 330" matching elk set that would fit perfect in these little corners but I can just see my dogs when I set them out there...

My labs always leave my sheds alone in the house but anything outside is fair game. I don't know what to tell you lol. All I know is I wouldn't be putting a 330 set outside to bleach  :chuckle:
