Actually saw a couple branch antlered bulls hard horned two weeks ago! I was shocked!

Last year we got pics of several bulls in full velvet on 8-12 at 9pm and on 8-13 at 6am they were nearly rubbed clean. Some of the larger bulls were hard horned a few days earlier.

Still seeing fuzzy antlers around here. Although the ones I've seen lately were young bulls.

Looks like he's still got the velvet on.

This was the earliest bull that shed his velvet I got last year on trail cam.



Then this guy was completely rubbed clean on the 20th.
