Crabbing the Olympic Coastal Beaches? In a raft?

My GF and I want to do a little beach hiking and camping somewhere on the Oly Coast.  We were thinking Forks / La Push area.

Would love to get in a little crabbing while we're at it.  I've got a little Zodiac raft and 7-horse evinrude I've used for crabbing puget sound, but I have no idea how hard it would be to launch off one of those coastal beaches.

Anyone know if its possible to crab the beaches in those areas from a raft/kayak etc?

I don't know that you can have anything motorized on those beaches due to wilderness regs.  Probably could on the tribal beaches at LaPush, but just for launching not crabbing.

Its possible for sure if the surf is not bad. Might have a harder time with the steeper beaches like Rialto/Mora Mora.
