Jousting Whitetails in the yard?
« on: September 24, 2014, 03:43:16 PM »
Not the best photos, but my daughter was the only one present when this was happening.
This is in my in-laws back yard in the Spokane Valley. They had to totally fence in the garden to keep the critters out.
There are bigger bucks around, but they don't get seen very often. I could arrow one but it would probably die in a non-hunters driveway. Besides, that wouldn't be my kind of hunting - rural Bucks.

Most of the hunting shows I watch have hosts that are concentrating on "mature" deer, like 5-1/2 or 6-1/2 year old deer.
The mature deer are what everyone wants, but not everyone gets - or has the patience.
I've got a guess at the ages of these three deer - anyone else want to guess their ages?
