Has anyone been catching any squid lately? I've never fished for them in elliot bay. Gonna give er a go tonight
The deer are exactly where you find them, and no where you dont!

Do I have to really go to the "city" to catch them?
I hate going to Edmonds let alone  the BIG CITY

Imo the fishery isn't popular enough yet for there to be other known "hot spots." Most of the time squid jigging is done off of piers and docks that are either allowing people to plug into power, or bring their generator. That significantly limits where its possible to fish. I have seen a few boats out and trying their hand recently, and am dying to give it a try. Im sure with a little time and effort you would be able to find em on your own

I have tried squishing a few times with only a little success.  My best night was a dozen.  Is there much technique to this or is just being in the right place at the right time?
