Great day!
« on: November 13, 2014, 07:58:55 PM »
Me and my 2 boys have been hitting it hard the last couple of days in unit 113. After 1 of my boys getting a spike first thing this morning it was time to try and fill my youngest boys tag so I perched him on one side of a ridge and me on the other side and at 4:00pm this guy came right down my sons ridge following and checking his scrape line which should have lead him right to my son but he decided to make a 90 and come over to my side of the ridge instead. I couldn't let him walk, my boy lost visual of him at about 200 yards and I dropped him at about 75 yards. Theres still plenty of time for him to fill that tag for his first. Nothing better than these moments with your kids. A spike and a 4x4 with 1 double eye guard. What a great day!
