I take it y'all ain't never tried deep fried "Salmon nuggets" or "Steelhead candy"

I am a Southerner and as you know we love anything fried!!!!

I think fresh Chum are the best for fryin due to their high fat content (as with Springer).

I cut them into 1" chunks, run em through buttermilk with Johnnys seafood seasoning & lemon pepper then into the bisquick & then 8 mins in the fry daddy. Served hot with (tarter sauce mixed with ketchup) and hush puppies!!!!
