Heading up for a last try for archery whitetail and was wondering if anyone had thoughts on rattling this time of year. God bad or just a stupid idea

They pester each other year around and are always curious, give it a shot

I do the same with elk and moose.

I'd keep it soft, less aggressive. Tinkle tips so to speak.
