19 preference points -- but worth it.
« on: December 16, 2014, 02:16:16 PM »
Darin has the patience of Job.
He is a long range shooting expert.  He waited 33 years to get this elk tag.  He had 19 points.
This is a Public land - Draw tag — 2014 is his year.
He shoots long range all the time so that when the chance comes he will be able to take that huge bull. Like often out to 1000 yards.
He hand loads and makes sure everything is perfect.
They get on a little hill and are looking way far in scopes.
They do not find a good enough elk.
Then one starts bugling pretty close.  Oh yeah it walks over the ridge and he shoots it at 41 yards.
Glad he practiced all that long range shooting.
Nice bull Darin.  I am jealous.

 I downloaded the app. Had a bit of difficulty actually getting it to load, but the app creator was very helpful and qhickly responded to me. Got it downloaded and it shows all my points in 3 states and tells me app dates for anywhere i want.
Pretty neat app. Ive spent a coupke bucks on way less useful things.
Btw, i am in no way affiliated with gotmytag or the app developer  :hello:
