Steelhead central WA

Is anyone getting on the steelhead?? I'm looking to hit up either the methow or okanogan river here real soon. I haven't fished either for steelhead. Any info would be appreciated. PM if you would like. I usually fish the Clearwater river but would like to learn some new area in wa. Is it worth the time right now?

You wont be fishing (I guess you could :chuckle:)  the Okanogan.  It's been chocolate for while now, and won't be clearing up anytime soon.

Ya I imagine it's going to be dirty muddy water for awhile, the plan is to make it over sometime soon. Not necessarily today or tomorrow. Spring like weather has me wanting to get on the river!!

The Met might be ugly as well with these Temps and fires last year lining the rivers valleys. Columbia is where I would head if I were after metal.

Ya I was thinkin the same thing on the methow.
Might just have to wait awhile till things clear up abit. I really prefer the smaller rivers. Was just wanting to see some new country and fish some new waters.
