Fishing around Kennewick?? UPDATE
« on: March 12, 2015, 07:56:15 PM »
May be going down to a HS soccer game tomorrow. Have the day off and could go early. What are the fishing opportunities close to there?

You can fish stocker trout pretty close to town at hood park ponds, or a little further out at dalton pond (though it was super dlow today), there's also a small pond across from crazy maries in wallula. Bass are coming around, though its been slow as well.
Pm me if you want any specifics

I'll get my ducks in a row tonight whether i'm going or not and give you a jingle. It would be bank fishing, and I'd be open to anything swimming

In the 80's in high school I attempted to empty the Columbia of suckers.  I don't think I succeeded so there's still an opportunity.   :chuckle:

I don't know if the pike minnow program is going yet but if it is you can make some money fishing for them. Top dollar angler took home over $77,000 last  year! That's a lot of $ for part time work that we all enjoy. They fight better than walleyes so they are fun to catch.

Well I ended up not going fishing. Some Dirtball broke into my truck during the night and stole all my fishing tackle and a down coat. Left the rod however.
Went for the game later in the day.
The tackle box stolen was a red soft side w/ zippered pockets and Plano boxes inside. approx 20x14x14. Jig heads, bodies, spoons, spinners, crank baits, several spools of line, filet knife etc. etc.
 :bash:

If your fishing buddy shows up with a new red tackle bag and a brown down coat, give me a jingle ;)

Just surfing Cabela's looking at replacing gear in the stolen bag. HOLY SMOKES. I had no idea I had that much in gear until looking at replacement values. Nothing High dollar, but lots of little packs of hooks/swivels/jigs on and on and on.

Not much worse in life than a low-down-good-for-nothing thief.  I understand the vengeance desire, someone stole my Christmas lights, after I went off on my desires for him to get electrocuted and even worse - my wife said I was probably a little too pissed about the whole thing. :bash:  Sorry for your loss.

Whats up with the Tri-cities now-a-days? There seems to be at least a couple crimes, if not one or two shootings per week.  :dunno:

Sorry for the confusion.
It was in my driveway in Spokane. We have our share of scumbags here too.
