Snow conditions at the Potholes
« on: January 03, 2009, 08:16:32 AM »
We're headed out to the Potholes area on Friday for a week of camping and chasing coyotes.  How much snow is on the ground?  I hate postholing through the snow and am trying to decide wether to bring the skis and snow shoes.

Lots of snow!! Good dog hunting but miserable hiking around in. On top of that it was dipping into the nagatives last night. Suppose to be severe cold for a few days.

Good Luck!! Kill a few of those mangey suckers.
