my dad got my mom a light weight  or feather light 38 kicks little bit much for her loasded it clear down to 625fps  any ideas

Those super light 38/357 Smiths are a handful, I've got one.

What bullet?  If 158 you might try 125 or 110 if you can find them.  Not sure I'd go too much lower than 625fps though.  That's assuming you're handloading.

The steel J-frames are easier on the hand but heavier to carry.  Other than that she might just practice with something heavier if you've got another revolver.  I'm sure if she ever had to use it she'd never notice the recoil and blast though.

we load 125 i think  700 fps hallows  seemed not bad  even less then  625 fps

I agree. A heavier frame would be my first choice.
Other than that, a lighter bullet, ported barrel like my Taurus Tracker would help, and lastly - rubber grips that fit her hand.
My wife has small hands and even has trouble with the Tracker (.357) even though it has rubber grips and ported barrel. She just doesn't like it - even with 148-grain wadcutters at 800-850 fps.

CorBon DPX 110+P's are not bad. that's what I use and I can empty the cylinder pretty fast.
