Need new arrows
« on: July 12, 2015, 04:07:20 PM »
I've been shooting the easton acc pro hunters 300 spine but am down to two arrows. Have a 28.5 " draw shooting around 73lbs.  Looks like easton has stopped making the acc pro hunters. Have been thinking about going full carbon. Maybe victory, gold tip or black eagle. I'll shoot 4 fletch and 100 gr tips. Any suggestions ?

Same here.  I got some black Eagles from xxx archery. Really like them. I went with the 56 grain half out insert.

Yes, Jerry at South Shore is the man. Well known for building quality consistent arrows for a reasonable price.

I shoot Gold Tip Pro Hunter .300's and love them

That's good to know .they sounded like they were really in depth on their arrow building techniques. I'll have to look at the gold tips.

I have recently bought the victory rip v3 gamer arrows and I like them a lot. I get better grouping it seems and have no complaints about them. I have not shot any of the others tho.

I pulled the trigger on some GT kinetic kaos 300's from south shore archery. Haven't had a chance to shoot yet but will try and report back.

just picked up some 400 Easton Injexion arrows this weekend at my local cabelas.  Got them for 40 dollars off (usually 90) from the bargain cave.  The reason for reduced price was simply because they were missing inserts, so i got a 12 pack of inserts and put them in myself no problem.  These arrows shoot hard.  Harder even than my fmj's which i have been using for a year now ( i did kill a good sized doe with an fmj the day prior)  Anyways these Injexions hit hard, and accurate with the factory fletching.  I am confident out to 60 yards for shooting a deer and i feel as if these injexions can only enhance my shooting at the 3d shoots.  Very good arrows!
