question on limits

Taking off to PA this Saturday to chase some humpies for fun. I read the regs and it sure seems difficult to decipher. Can you keep 4 pinks or just 2. The 2 salmon limit throws me off. Can humpies be the first part of that limit, and then 2 more?

Generally you are allowed 2 salmon. If it is a pink year and you are allowed "2 additional pinks" you can keep 4 pinks...Or 2 pinks, 2 other legal salmon. If you are going for 4 pinks, you certainly can.

Should be a good trip, I remember when I fished the straights and there was a solid bar across the screen that was pinks. It was a trick letting your downrigger go fast enough without tangling to get through them without a bite so you could fish silvers.

I am pretty excited. Would spend quite a bit of time mooching along the kelp beds with my dad in his wooden sled in the early 80's. Lots of nice kings to 30 pounds. We'll go old school and jig the incoming for a few. Even bringing the fs83 still loaded with triple fish!
