What kinds of hunting stabilizers do you use/ like?
« on: August 16, 2015, 09:54:38 AM »
Im going to get a new stabilizer for shooting and hunting. Right now i just have a little rubber one. I tried a couple of different ones at Riverside after I got my Bow re strung. I tried a 11" Spider and really liked it. I also tried  a Ktec in their new Handle design.

I liked the K tech because it helped carry it more ergonomically but the Spide made my shooting tighter.

What others should I try? I want to keep the overall length down under 12" to stay in the Bowhunter freestyle class while shooting 3d. THX!
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I'm a big fan of Dead Center Archery stuff but any of ktech, dead center, or bee stinger will work just fine. Just make sure the end is threaded so you can play with different weights
Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake

The Doinker 10 in 7.8 oz is a very nice stabilizer.  It gets the weight out to the end.  I also like the Hoyt 8 in 7.8 oz.
