The Best Days
« on: January 14, 2009, 06:04:25 PM »
I love to duck hunt. But when I have the oppertunity to take one of my kids, it makes the experience so much more enjoyable.
We hunted my still very flooded lease this afternoon for about 2 hours and bagged a nice Drake Mallard, two Drake Wigeon and a Hen Wigeon. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.... ;)

could not have said it better myself.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

My best partner is my 13 year old son, he's been going with me since he was 4.  Way to go!  Start them right and start them young and they will always want to spend time with you.
