Second Deer Permit Filled Before First?

Is there any reason I cant fill a second deer tag prior to filling my general season tag?  Other than the name of the tag, is there anything anyone can find that would prohibit this?

Not that I'm aware of. If it is legal to take the animal with the second tag order doesn't matter.

Just make sure you affix the correct tag to the first animal you down....

  That is the way is has to be done for so many that draw second tag when rifle hunting...

I've drawn that tag a few times and you can fill them in either order.  Good luck, Birdguy!
