Bipod?

Looking for ideas for what to use when calling coyotes. I shoot from a sitting position,so do you use a attached bipod , a tripod or what? Thanks

I have two Harris bipods, one 9-13 and one I can use while sitting. Have done well for me and no issues.

Harris mod S, I think it is a 25S.  The swivel is very important.  Also, having that tripod open and hanging down out there steadies offhand shots FOR ME when the wind is slight.  Therefore I walk with it deployed and ready to drop to my butt and shoot, but can take an offhand shot if that is all I have visibility or time for. 

It does not really go low enough for prone shooting, but how often do you get a prone shot?  Also when using a boulder or down tree etc it may not go low enough if you want to set up behind it. I will usually just fold it and shoot off my pack though.  I'm blessed with a very forgiving collection of rifles when it comes to leaving it attached and resting the folded tripod legs on my pack.

The bipod can also straddle a fence post and let you shoot offhand.

Shooting prone with an attached bipod is equivalent to shooting off a bench. Rock solid.

I use bi pods a lot. I also picked up a Caldwell field pod? think that's what they call it. MAN IT'S SWEET. A tank to carry but solid as a rock with lots of adjustment.

I use a bipod now, but for years I took two ski poles cut them down to 34", piloted a hole trough the poles and put a 3 inch bolt and nut through it. I used camo duct tape and taped the poles. I still have them and they work fantastic as a rest!
