Well I hunted there and seen a few spikes, and cows but no bulls. I at mid-day I went to another area, and hunted till dark, but I didn't even see a single elk.

The second day of the season came and my caller didn't want to get up. So I ventured out on my own with hopes of finding some bulls. I started to hike before sunrise, I reached a deep draw and I let out a location bugle. I got one to respond immediately down in the draw. I made my way down to him, but I got busted by the wind when it decided to change direction.  as I  stood there in the draw I heard rocks falling coming down to me, then I seen a few cows walking down to me about a 100 yards out. Then I heard a bull bugle, but he sounded small. As he appeared I seen he was a small 4 point standing broadside at a 100 yards but I decided to pass.
