lil' help
« on: October 17, 2015, 11:08:41 AM »
so a little late on this post. Most of my usual hunting partners headed east for opening weekend, I had to stay put on the west side as I wasn't able to take any time off of work. Thing is, the spot I had planned on hunting ended up being closed when I showed up this morning.

Gonna try to keep calling in to get back on base, but hadn't really planned on hunting there this weekend. Anyone have some tips for some last minute public land to get on?

Any national forest land is going to hold some deer. It's public land. Go make something happen!

Pick some public land near you and if necessary take a mountain bike so you can get further in. You haven't been able to scout it, so getting away from the pumpkin patch is probably your best bet.

Good luck! Sorry to hear about losing your spot.
