Anyone with a Longhorn diesel?  Do the air bags help?  :dunno: They should but don't know yet.

My dad has a '14 3500 SRW Laramie Longhorn.

At almost 65 it might have been a mistake to buy such a pimped out truck. He'll probably be dead before he figures out every gadget on that thing. :chuckle:

Mines not a long horn so I don't have bags on it, but I don't need them with my 32 foot travel trailer.  It has a 1050lb young weight and barely squats my truck. I did have bags on my 05 Cummins but never put more than the minimum 5 psi in them
I don't always shoot big mule deer, but when I do, it's with a bow tech!

How is the ride when it is empty? My 14 gasser is so stiff. It is a nice ride with 1800 lbs of apples, firewood, trailer and still doesn't squat at all . 20000 pounds it is comfortable but unloaded it is rough.  :dunno:

I've got a 2014 dually 3500, and no bags with a 4K+ camper on it it rides pretty good. Unless the road is real smooth running empty is rough.  Luckly It wears the camper most of the time.

My dads 3500 SRW needs air bags. It rides pretty low in the rear when hitched to my boat (1400lbs tongue weight).

If you haven't already, drop the pressure in the tires.  You don't need more than about 50psi in the rears for everyday unloaded driving.

does the 2014 have leafs in the rear?  Mine has coils and the ride empty is great!  Compared to my 2005 at least.  I don't squat all that bad even with my trailer, and my quad  in the truck

I won't have a truck w/o bags

factory installed or aftermarket makes no difference.
