I've been hunting eastern Franklin County, bordering WW County. I've seen a couple. Shot one. Today there was a brief show shower, and found fresh 'yote tracks along the paved (but infrequently traveled) road. The terrain was cut wheat fields, not even a twig or scrap of terrain to hide behind at that location. Dang.
I am hearing that "there are lots of coyotes out there", but I expect them more likely to be found closer to towns, where irrigation is available. That's my theory.
