That counter person was a stand up guy. Most are worthless, idiot snakes. They usually get weeded out over time. Anyone who knows the gun industry knows Glock keeps it pricing tight and the shop will profit more from selling a M&P at MSRP then they would a Glock.

Already own the Glock 17 and love it... What I really like about the S&W is the thumb safety. Something about having that option as apposed to none (the Glock 43) is appealing. Have held both and I'm still considering either and have read probably ten reviews. Swaying toward the S&W to be honest. Can get one more round with the S&W as well. The 17 shoots incredibly well and I live that gun though. Decisions, decisions! Thanks all for the help.

That Sword is more important than the Shield!

I own a carry a Glock 26 everyday (I know its the double stack) but also own a Shield. Honestly I don't think you'll be dissatisfied with either. that being said If you already own a Glock you will probly like the Glock trigger better over the shield. That was my one gripe when I shot it was the trigger is a bit heavy for what it is. The shield has a manual safety, I really didn't see a need to make such a heavy trigger when it also has a safety. Glock is 5.5lbs, shield is 6.5lbs, these are of course according to their web sights. I would say the shield is closer to 7 and Glock closer to 5. anyways see which one you like in your hand best and check the triggers, go with that one. Happy shooting!
