Howa Mini Action in 6.5 Grendel

I just received a new catalog from Legacy Sports and I noticed they are offering the Howa "Mini Action" in 6.5 Grendel this year. It was previously available in 204 Ruger and 223 Rem. but for 2016 they added 222 Rem, 6.5 Grendel, and 7.62x39.

The 6.5 Grendel in this rifle seems like it would be a great rifle for a kid. With the 20 inch lightweight barrel the weight is 5.7 pounds. Or you can get the standard weight 22 inch barrel for an overall weight of 6.0 pounds.

I beat them to it last year when I had a CZ 527 converted to 6.5 Grendel with a 19" barrel. It's a great little gun that comes in a exactly 7# with the scope mounted. I had it built for my son as a hunting rifle but I liked it so much he'll probably never see it again.
