Im in the market for a new rig and I'd like to keep it to $30,000 and under. I would be using this as a daily driver and hunting rig. I dont have a trailer or large boat to tow, so I think there is no need for a 3/4 ton at this time. I'm know a 1/2 ton will pull my drift boat fine and if I was to buy a smaller 20ft trailer a 1/2 ton would do that fine as well.
In looking at used rigs online it seems that the years 2014 and under are trucks that seem to fit in my price range. Is there any specific rigs that seem to have major issues that I should stay away from? I currently own a older Chevy and have had no major problems with it other than 300,00 miles and being 20 years old.
I plan on heading to dealerships to do some test drives and see what the newer rigs of today feel like and what brands tickle my fancy, any input on major issues might save me from headaches's down the road.
