Full gear and water, plus the big glass and I'm sitting at 40.3 pounds. I do know my food is 1.9 pounds a day, so for an 8 day hunt I'd be at about 56 pounds. I could definitely shave a bit but like i said before, I wanna eat well and be comfortable. I've done the ultra light thing and for me, it sucked
Crap I'm just gonna cram my pack full of food and if I run out eat yours or head for town .

Not sure what max is, but I have had North of 100 pounds in it more times than I can count in the last three years. Biggest lad was probably 130 ish last year in Idaho. Wasn't weighed but a whole boned out mature mule deer, my whole camp, head and cape. 4 miles back to camp, then 7.5 out to the truck. It carries amazingly well.
