Late Yale muzzleloader hunt,
« on: July 20, 2016, 08:53:46 AM »
Any pointers? My buddy drew this tag, I'm trying to help him out, I've never been down there myself. Any help would be appreciated!

Go up Rock crk road everything on the right is Yale (follow boundary descriptions) and you should get some action up there

My dad drew the tag this year (bull tag). I've never hunted it, but drive through it frequently. Lots of private. Private GPS maps will be helpful. And snow should concentrate the elk. PM me and we can swap info when the season gets going.

We have a few that hang just above the house after they get pushed down.  Sometimes get them in the yard, but usually after dark.  I can keep an eye out when you're in the area.  Friend missed one a few years ago when cap didn't fire.
