To everyone here, thanks for all of the advise. That is what makes this forum the best on the net.
After reading everyone's replies several times, I am going to set up an appointment with my local archery shop and see if I can get my bow inspected and paper tuned. And then I am going to set myself on a more ridged practice routine. AS-IS. My original plan stays in place. I don't need a high-end bow, or a better rest, or a better stabilizer. Me and my bow have harvested two animals in two seasons so far. Not too bad, if I can say so myself.
Lamrith, my good friend who has archery hunted many many years now told me back when I bought the bow to do the full draw/eyes closed line up. I have done this when I did my initial setup at Cabelas and will check it again when I get to the pro shop.
Hopefully that happens as early as this weekend.
