Surprising to hear. I've never used him, or even met him, but I've seen that Mike Palazzo recommended on here numerous times.

Yes, at one time Mike was a great gunsmith.

His eyesight is failing him, and he has lost his manual dexterity. I had to catch him to keep him from falling backwards in his shop once. I watched him remove scope caps with a pair of pliers and completely scar the bluing with zero regard to the damage he had done.

I will let the photos do the rest of the explaining.
