Seems gadgety.  I think money would be better spent on a purpose-built, quality hatchet or small axe and a good solid multi-tool, both of which are tried and true.

Handle would not last one outing with so much wood cut away.

I looks like an $18.00 tool at tops.
If I had one it would make its way to the bottom of the tool box, never to be seen again.
I'm not sure.

Yea, was watching YouTube and saw a top 10 new camping gear segment... Seems like something a city slicker hipster would have. I'll stick with my first gen fiskars axe

Priced way to high for me. Could be a cool addition to a backpacking/hunting/emergency bag where weight and space is a premium. For that kind of $ i
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

If you need something in an emergency situation, the last thing you need is a broken "gadget."

This is true  but price doesn't always reflect quality. Imo I'd rather have an eastwing hatchet and a complete harbor freight tool set for the rig than that thing.

What I am sayings that that cockamamie contraption is not a serious tool, it is a gadget, and an overpriced gadget at that.
