Frozen breech plug
« on: February 08, 2017, 05:09:37 PM »
I have a knight ML with a stuck breech plug. A back yard mechanic tried to get it unfrozen with an easy out.
Anyone with the know how and tool's willing to give it a try and help me out.  Thanks

You might try squirting some panther piss on the threads and let it soak. I've had them so bad I thought I was toast but just took some piss and umph...

If you get it, make sure to lube the thread when reinstalling it.

Well, I guess all this depends on whether you have something left to grip and remove it....
Just tend your own and live.

I have a Knight disc extreme and I am pretty good with stuck breech plugs. If you live near Maple Valley, come on by and we'll get er out.

PM where you are at.  I'm in North Bend.

If it is the hex head breach it is better, the slotted breach is more difficult, but can be done.

KROIL is the real deal.  I have the spray and the liquid because it is so good
