What caliber Tikka T3 or T3X are you Tikka guys using to hunt deer and elk. I was thinking of getting a T3X in 30.06 but was interesting in some of your opinions. Thanks.

For all-around medium to big game I would consider one of these calibers: 270 Winchester, 270 WSM, 30-06, and 300 WSM. My personal preference would be one of the WSMs but they’re all great calibers. I owned a T3 in 30-06 and was pleased with it.

300 wsm for me. My tikka really likes fusion ammo, and have yet to meet a critter that didn't absolutely hate it!!

T3 300 WSM awesome rifle shoots great. You might want to think about a brake for it.
