Cowlitz is running pretty high and murky right now, I've heard of a few fish picked up, but the river needs to drop quite abit to realy be fishable. As fowl smaker said, county line or willow grove would be about the only options right now for plunking. The water is high, but you would still want to keep it in tight to the bank, at county line you would be fishing in close to the trees. I haven't been up on the kalama for awhile but if the color looks good it should still be holding a few winter run. With the smelt tease we had the lower cowlitz might be holding some sturgeon if you don't mind C&R. The local lakes, Sacajawea and Kress, recieved some trout plants in january if the cormorants haven't got em all yet and Silver may still be kicking out some crappie.
