  30 years ago I chronoed a bunch of factory 7mm Rem Mag ammo. none of it met factory published specs.

Nimrod, could it have been from some powder sticking to the brass inside?

The Nosler custom I shot in my 300 wsm was great. Sub MOA at 300+ yards. Bangflopped a coyote with it at ~520 earlier in the year. Took me a long time to get better handloads 

Nope, collet bullet puller and I double checked  the cases. Other than a grain stuck in the random primer hole they were clean.

Yeah the differences in barrel length, chamber sizes, twist rate and groove design make those specs kind of useless
