Finishing up my 3rd set of tongs. These are wide flat bit jaws for holding 1/2"-5/8" square stock. They work great! Very pleased with the business end but I want to get my reins a bit cleaner.  Also wanted to share my air valve for the charcoal forge. 2" pipe and electrical junction box. Cut half the lip off the door and use just 1 screw. Works very well

my wife was out antique shopping and found this anvil and sent me a text (half joking, who needs more than one anvil right ?)  $ 50 for a 52 # anvil.  A really good buy !   

originally it had a vice on one end, I have done a number of searches but have found little info on the anvil or the manufacture ?

Decided to switch it up. I like this setup way better than horizontal! Much more steel under the hammer, Small horn on the base and center web is a fuller.  Not sure what I'll do with the other side of the base just yet. I'll never use it horizontal again!
