This blade was one of my first Flat Ground efforts.
8670 Tool Steel, flat ground, very straight stilletto type geometry, willow leaf drop point profile, with an extremely ergonomic grip and thumb swale. SUPER comfortable, really great handling. Razor shrp.
9.5" overall, 4.5" cutting edge. Bocote (CA stabilized), Brass, and Black carbon spacers.
8670 is a great performing steel but it does need maintenance or it'll rust. It will darken and patina, like the Old Timers and other carbon knives from the old days, but if it's maintained (cleaning and gun oil), it'll last many generations and perform like a legend.
