Congrats on the new family member!

I would likely buy the Sig over the Glock because the NH factory is near Mom's house and they have a test range in Epping NH. I have a 4" XD that makes me very happy to fling brass. When I aim it right, it hits the target and never jams.

I'm a little surprised at the poll results, with the following Glocks typically have, I'd have thought the results would have been the opposite of what they actually are.

I've got Sigs and Glocks, me personally, I like Sigs better but it seems every time I'm out shooting there are a lot more Glocks, especially the Glock 21's.

I've had Gold Cups, Rugers in 45.   Had a early Nurinco 1911 that out shot the Gold cups.  Had a HK but not for long, didn't like my second finger!

HAVE 21's now and would buy more!

:) I read recently, have not checked it in any way. BUT this article said 55-70 percent of American cops carry Glocks.

:) cleaned the sig yesterday and put 50 rounds thru it. adjusting to the trigger. nice sights, 30 more rounds today. group is tightening up. The trigger is gonna take some time and ammo to get used to. very low recoil. seems accurate. I like it. ordered a holster today.
I like Glocks and own some. if you like the 21 take a look at the 41, it almost came home. :chuckle: still might.
anyway I am happy so far, I think I will put the glocks and 1911s away for a couple months and put 1000 or so thru the sig.

Sigs are great and I own my share of them. I like Glocks, their a work horse and they go bang every time and I don't care if I have one in the center counsel, glove box, tool box, tackle box or tossed under a truck seat. Who cares glocks are what they are, dependable and accurate. I would never toss my Sig Scorpion or Nightmare under the seat or in a tool box and pound down mountain roads.

I've debated purchasing a 320 but wanted to see how they played out.

I'd wager most people using Glocks on a daily basis just don't bother with polls like this one. It's the endless Ford vs Chevy debate just in a different form, where most of the opinions voiced are by people who happened to buy one or the other first and feel the need to validate that decision. There are exceptions, but for the most part it really doesn't matter.

Glocks are well proven and those who know, already know. The 320 is pretty new and relatively unproven with a lot of hype and conjecture out there, especially with guys trying to equate them to the aluminum frame guns.
