Some of the most successful hunters are road hunters.  My uncle would kill one every year by road hunting.  It's all about covering ground when the deer are rutting.

Truck traffic don't bother the deer, either does people target practicing, as long as it's something that happens consistently.
 A couple years ago I was watching a bedded down 3 point. Within 100yards there was some guys shooting and talking. That buck didn't even bat an eye.
