Moles

So fellow trappers, whats the best way to kill or repel moles in the backyard ?
I see the traps at Lowes but also spinners on Harbor Freight

remove the food source 1st if possible & then set out poisioned bait &/or then trap. It keeps them under control for 3-4 months at a time but they always return

Best traps I've ever used for moles. Watch the videos on the website for them for setup and tips.  Little tricky to set up at first. But best ones by far. They're real small. Find a mole hole that has a tunnel thru and thru. Set one up each direction. Make sure the pinching end is pressed in to the dirt, as moles like to go under things.

A shotgun is always good too. I'll clear all the dirt from the holes in the morning and then keep an eye out throughout the day. Once I see some new dirt I'll grab the shotgun and stand over it till I see some movement. Sometimes setup a chair with a beer and wait!

Gas 'em with long road flares down their holes. Works for me.

Yes it is and you'd be hard-pressed to find a single conviction. But, flares are OK, in any event, and they work.

I bought some of these and I think they will work great as soon as I learn to stake them down after they are set!!   Set one trying to get a vole, I think I got a mole that drug off the trap before he died.  Keep thinking I will till it up some day ( was in garden ).
These are similar to Cinch traps but way smaller. Cinch traps have worked the best for me and I think these would do just as good, and I believe they are cheaper.
