Bucks moving to does

Typically do bucks move to does and not the other way around and will does stay where they are from now until rut? That's assuming hunters aren't pushing them away. My basic plan is to head up and start about where I was on opening and sit on the doe areas and wait. I'm talking whitetail in the NE

Bucks will move to the does. Does will follow the food source. It's always comes down to timing. If you have enough time, watching does will always pay off. However, some years the rut really kicks off after the season, so it's a gamble.

Generally the does migrate and group up and the bucks will then show up. Locals of course will stay in local area. Most local bucks have been trimmed off, and only forkies remain, except for the cagey old ones that know the ropes.

Both will move around, bucks will move around more. If you have cameras up, you will start to see new bucks show up that have not been filmed all year. If you can find a corn field that holds doe, that is ideal, doe+corn=bucks.
