Good work. That's become a tougher and tougher hunt. I remember running around in the woods about this time several years back and the number of bucks and NICE bucks that we saw was impressive.

Ya i remember there being lots more deer this time of the year also..he was the only one i saw but it was pouring rain most of the day with the wind howling all day

 :yeah: My family has been here for well north of 100 years farming and ranching and the predator population. Mainly lions has put a huge hurting on the herds around here.

It's actually a T/C renegade in .54cal. using 348 gr. powerbelt. Ive hunted this area since I was 16, now 43. Ive killed many bucks over the years mostly rifle in this area. Love the area but have seen to many downside changes over the years. Still love this area and might try my luck this weekend.
