Anyone have any experience with these? I think they look really cool. Kind of scifi. And I understand that there is some interesting stuff going on under the hood.

But does anyone have a justification as to why a customer should spend 2x the money on this as most other 9mm pistols?

Interesting. No experience. It's funny that they claim all sorts of revolutionary features, that are on other pistols, too. 

It seems kind of status symbol-y.

That thing is ugly imo.  I see nothing that makes it worthy of double price

It looks interesting, low bore axis, no idea what back ground the company has or its longevity. That price is within bounds for an upscale 9mm, Sig Legion, for example. I am not a huge striker fire fan.
